Kathryn's Lemonade: Open for Business
Here's Kathryn at her Lemonade stand. David Earl (see "Links" section to the right) and I built the stand on Saturday for her out of mostly scraps.
Last year she made quite a bit of money at her stand which consisted of a card table and some lawn chairs. I wanted her to be able to get out of the sun a bit.
The foundation for her stand is an old upside-down pallet with a sheet of OSB screwed to it for the floor. We still need to paint it.
The reason it only has one wall is so that it has good airflow (to keep her cool) and the wall is on the west side to block out the afternoon sun. As you can see in the picture, however, she couldn't wait until afternoon to get started.
The roof will shed water (it's the glue type shingle stuff you use for flat roofs). The kids can use the stand when the school year begins to keep out of the rain.

And....?
Is there some sort of spreadsheet you could post to demonstrate 'the bottom line'? You know, overhead vs. revenue and all that.
